
Rehabilitation of the New York State Capitol
The Eastern Approach is a terraced, unreinforced mass masonry staircase rising from the East Capitol Park to the second floor of the Capitol’s East Portico. The Eastern Approach exhibits significant deterioration, including cracking, spalling, and masonry displacement. As the General and Masonry Contractor, Allegrone Co. plans to restore the structure's stability and resistance to harsh weather.
