Buyers Ready to Spend on Green

In an article written by Melissa Dittman Tracey, buyers are beginning to realize the pro’s in green home building and energy-efficient products. More and more Americans are determining that the cost is worth it. Energy-efficiency is changing from buyers “wish-list” to their “must-list.” Homeowners are realizing that, in addition to helping the environment, they can save a significant amount of money in the long-run. Some of these “green” upgrades are not cheap, but federal tax credits are helping to sway buyers to adapt a more efficient and healthier way of living.
