The new future home for Gracious Retirement Living & Healthcare Services.
Exciting things have begun over at 270 South Main Street in Pittsfield. A vast clearing has been created and a strong foundation has been started. This centrally located site will be the new home of Berkshire Place’s newest facility, a much welcome addition to aid in the growing need for senior living. This facility will be centered on skilled nursing and superior health-care, while in a warm home-like environment.
Allegrone is the Construction Manager and builder for the new complex, which includes a three-story building with two houses of 13 units and two houses of 14 units, offering a total of 54 beds. There will also be a community room, small commercial kitchens, dining and living rooms, two elevators, associated support spaces, gardens, parking and landscaping. The new Berkshire Place is being built with sustainability and green architecture in mind and will meet all the requirements of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
