Allegrone in the News: Historic Howard Building is Reborn
June 16, 2014

Frank Howard, owner of a successful hardware and agricultural implements business and seed company, was recognized by Allegrone as someone worth remembering. The Howard Building was once a huge success in the early to mid 1900's and has since remained hidden from the public's awareness. Now, the building stands tall as it once was, offering apartments that hold contemporary, spacious, and light-filled living conditions while the residential common areas provide a historic homage to Frank Howard and his Colonial Revival building. The building is now on the National Register of Historic Places. The image above provided by the Berkshire Eagle shows the new residential lobby during the open house on Sunday, June 15th.
