Sustainability

Sustainability is more to us than green building. We pride ourselves on the longevity of our staff and history of many successful partnerships.

At Allegrone, we embrace sustainable business practices. We are committed to building and operating in an environmentally conscious manner using green products, systems, practices and methodology. We continually educate ourselves on new technology to deliver the best, most innovative solutions to our customers. We believe in leaving an intentionally small footprint and strive to conduct our various businesses in an environmentally-aware manner.

Through LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) and as a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, Allegrone’s mission is consistent with that of the USGBC: To transform the way buildings and communities are designed, built and operated, enabling an environmentally and socially responsible, healthy, and prosperous environment that improves the quality of life.

We are all MAKERS with the power to build resilient communities.

Our team had a wonderful time participating in Yo-Yo Ma’s “Day of Action”, where teams of local businesses and organizations united under a single tent to build tables for the community. The tables are made from local ash trees and inscribed with local responses that complete the phrase “The Berkshires make...”. #yoyoma #dayofaction #community #intheberkshires
Earlier this week we celebrated the completion of Berkshire Place’s new independent living community, known as 89 South. #intheberkshires

Allegrone Companies provided design-build services for the three-story, Richardsonian Romanesque building located in the heart of Pittsfield. The new space houses 18 living units, primarily one- and two-bedroom setups, all of which express the 21st century historic character and new-age transitional design while offering the latest technologies. #historic #seniorlivingcommunity
