Green Building Thrives in Economic Recession

According to GreenSource, the magazine of sustainable design, green building has grown 50% over the past 2 years, and is expected to continue to keep growing in the next few years, reaching about $145 billion in 2015 for new construction!

Green building is quickly becoming the new wave of construction and soon will be structured into building specifications and code. Now is the time to adapt to this new wave of sustainable building!

Rammed earth builders use lots of old car tires. Adobe lobcks could be made from local clay. Check your newspaper for auctions they usually have lots of leftover and pre-used building materials that you could use.
